My new little ACER projector

I had nowhere to post this, sorry if it offends you!!!

I have bought myself a new little ACER C120 projector today. I say little because it fits right into my hand and it is really an notebook companion. Does not have HDMI ports or speakers. It just have an USB port that you plug into a notebook. Plug it in and you go. It is a LED unit with a 20000 hour lamp time, I thought it is not going to be the brightest and I should work in total darkness with it, not so, it is actually very bright depending on the power mode and I could see it quite fine with normal daylight coming into the garage. I just need it for airbrushing so it is perfect for using it for that, not that I am not going to use it or a movie or two after I have seen it's capabilities.

It's a very handy help for you, I have one myself but mine is from Phillips, it's about the same size and does the same, I connect it to my laptop and project the images straight from my computer, if your using a high resolution image you can get a good clear image up to about 58 inches.

Using these just for mapping out for airbrushing they are ideal, but you can't show movies and such, I tried projecting youtube with mine and it just jumps constantly, but as you say it's a handy notebook companion, you can easily show off family photos and such so everyone doesn't have crowd around your computer,

I hope you have as much fun with yours as I do with mine.

It works out to about $313.00 but it cost me $448.00 cause I still did not learn to not buy second hand electronics from someone. There is a reason they are selling it, it is about to break. I did not even get time to do one trace with it and it broke. You must remember this price is for South Africa, it should be much cheaper in the states.

LOL I didn't buy it for movies either but I thought would try it anyway, but since my telly is bigger than image I get and full HD I'd rather watch the movies there .

I think your was very expensive, especially if you bought it second hand, I paid €160 for mine which I think is about $210 US, mine is a bottom of the line model which like yours only has a USB but they have more sophisticated versions of the same model.

They make pico projectors only for Apple.. pretty cheap.. I need a projector myself.

I see your little projector and raise you a smaller one. This is one a friend got in Hong Kong. Was about $300 and really gives a good image. Even has sound. He uses it with his phone to watch movies.
