rut roh...ummm I never said I could use it seriously though I can get it to spray the width of a .5 lead pencil but inconsistently, I'm spraying spectra-tex @ a 2:1 reduction and air @ 5 psi plus tip dry is a nightmare also at that fine a spray so still working on consistency.
Great brush mate... that's what i have got... you can get the fine conversion kit for it which i think is a 0.3mm as opposed to the ultra fine 0.21 ( I think ).... for starting outyou don't need much more. ....I did however nip a coil and half off of spring and extend the trigger but that's just personal preference
Wicked I sometimes reduce up to 20 to 1 part paint. .... you have to work in very light layers.... keep your pressure dead low to stop spidering but it reduces tip dry and helps with control. .... give ita go with the spectra and see how you get on
Ok fezzie, you nailed it...I reduced my spectra-tex @ 10:1 with 5 psi air and it worked fine with only one episode of tip dry ..----->> ( bows and backs up slowwwwwly) thanks bud. this is 8.5 x 11 reg. printer paper
