New to airbrushing :)

Hi! I have a lot of questions but I´ll start with this one. Can I use Nitro for cleaning my brush? I have Iwata HP-CH. I read on some page that it´s not good for PTFE seals? can it do any more damage? Right now I´m using Restorer 4008 but it is a small bottle and it takes 5 days for a new one to arrive from the shop..so I was thinking about using ordinari Nitro for cleaning...

I but 2K thinners through mine - all good

All you need is water then and restorer for the 1 month serious clean.

So you are saying I dont need to clean it with a restorer every time?

Yes! Just flush the gun with water, do a back flush and ensure the water is coming out clean thats it. I leave a few drops of water in it as well.

'Createx restorer' is designed for thorough cleans when things start getting clogged up. It's reusable so therefore economical.
Be careful spraying some solutions as they were never designed to be atomized and inhaled - always mask up when spraying any sort of solvent/cleaner

For water based I use simple green without ammonia, or purple cleaner, both can be bought at a hardware store. And when its time for a thurough cleaning I use acytone fingernail polish remover. All above are fine for airbrushes with Teflon o rings and packings
