Ocean landscape effect

I would like to paint an ocean landscape scene, how should I go about achieving the ocean surface effect ?, is there a tutorial for water scenes anyone knows of ?

Cant' figure it out at the moment.. :witless:

Ocean landscape scene. Well the ocean is a refection of the sky. So when I normally do anything like that I normally reflect the sky but tweek it up with blues/blue greens and so forth so that it has dark and light shades to create the texture (waves/swell) in the ocean. Then I concentrate on the waves/white caps as it gets closer to the beach.
