[Solved]Paint comes out while pushing for air...

I am using my new Sotar 20/20 with Spectra-Tex paint reduced with a drop or 2 of water, depending on the PSI. I tried ranges of PSI and all, still getting paint while using only air. Any ideas?

Sounds like you have some paint in the nozzle and its stopping the needle closing off the hole Time for a clean out and reduce your paint a little more 4 or 5 water to 1 paint and about 20 psi, maybe even filter it before use to make sure there are no minute lumps in it.

Yup as Lee said.... Little clog in your nozzle.... It's a common problem.... happened to me only last night..

Thanks! Did everything you guys recommended and the paint is flowing better, plus no more paint while pushing down! Thanks again!

Had the same problem today...and I know how to fix it, just to lazy to stop, until it gets outa control ..then I have to take my cap off, give it a good clean, and wolah..back on track!!
