I hope you get your pictures fast. It would be a pity if they were gone. Please do not!
Maybe I have this round no luck, until now nothing has arrived.
But sometimes the ways of the post office are not understandable.
Hope dies last.
You're not alone in still waiting on your paint pal to arrive Mine has not made it here either but I keep hope alive
I'm still waiting too
It’s seems a few are lost in the mail, including the one I sent
This will be my first one lost
If they are lost this would be the worst case we've had, I've had one to Argentina take nearly five weeks, and turned out to be because it was boxed rather than in an envelope, the box was probably overkill but I'm always nervous of my work being damaged.
It's sad for those still waiting and no doubt worrying for the artists themselves, I reckon customs in a lot of places are confused about how to classify some packages, having said that, I've waited 6+ weeks for simple small packages from both eBay and Amazon, I also reckon some couriers will wait until there are a lot more packages going to a particular destination.
Since everything is computerised these days it might be an idea for senders to contact the post office where their items were dropped off, obviously for this the post office receipt is handy, I always keep mine until my items actually land, but I also normally opt for tracking so I can always see where it is.
Yes, tracking would be an idea, mine just went in an envelope, it’s on synthetic paper so the chances of it getting damaged are pretty minimal unless it got caught in machinery
Herb tried to send me his Baron von Kat painting which I believe was on synthetic paper, the postal services succeeded in butchering that before returning it to him, anything at all can be damaged in the hands of the right idiot
Tracking is not always ideal being I have had tracking show me that is was sitting in a country that it should not have ever went to when it was sitting in the hands of the person it went to. if that makes sense this morning. plus some place like Argentina tracking puts up a flag for customs to check it out.
I not as sure as it is poor postal handling as it may be poor customs handling when it is going outside your home country .
mine has been in air for 46 days now losing hope now
Phileas Fogg could have delivered it by now in 1873 Century
Yep, customs is actually what I meant to say
I did get this little gem yesterday from @SiRoxx it is an unofficial paint pal but it is cool just hard to get a really good pic of.
here is without flash
and with Flash
Thank you so much , It really made a rainy day a nice one.
I’m really glad it made the journey safe and sound. As you’re the King of Unofficial PP’s I thought it was about time you got one. I’m glad you like it too.

Our customs and mail office are rubbish!! You never know what can happen to your package, even if it is a local shipment

It's sad times for both sender and receiver when a PP goes awol. It happened to me once, and knowing how everyone puts their heart into their work for their PP, it's a real shame if they don't make it. The world is giving us some crazy weather all over right now, so hopefully they are just delayed somewhere. But whether it turns up or not, your PP still spread the love by painting and sending it, and that's an awesome feeling.
In Argentina , traking means customs , harder to get
After I feared I would not get any paint pal, my wife called me excitedly and said that a "big" envelope had arrived from Australia. What??? big ???
At home I saw the sender and what should I say: Paul is my paint pal!
I'll make it short, I got two incredible pictures today! The first in the paint pal format Brad Pitt but the second Michael Keaton in A4!
It is unbelievable in which quality everything is painted! The structures and colors are fantastic! Paul gave me a sample of Blair paper, and now that I have some Createx illustration colors, I'll test it!
The best thing about a Paint pal is that you can study the painting style and get an idea of how the other works! Paul, I would like to be your student!
Infinite thanks my Paul!
Congratulations @Micha der Wolf , that’s a fantastic Paint Pal to receive. Fantastic work @musicmacd.
