I've noticed a lot of folks here are their own worst critics regarding artwork. And yeah, I'm solidly in that camp. Just trying to get past an "anniversary" and filled with self-doubt. I'm already "big" (read "fat") and where I work I'm "famous" (or infamous:evil: depending on who you ask).:whistling:
I do this to myself, then all of a sudden I pull a rabbit out of a hat (or my behind) lolloland astonish someone.
Thank you for the pep-talk.

@HellBird ....Exactly what @Mr.Micron and @basepaint said. Whatever your ability with the airbrush it doesn't matter. It's the thought and effort you put in that makes the painting. I have a PP off a member called shadow2462 and he was a noob. He apologised for his rubbish work but you know what, it wasn't rubbish it was good and its framed and in my display case with the others I have. AndreZA sent me a pic of a stick man on some paper!! It's in the case next to it. So what i'm saying is don't doubt yourself, try your best and don't worry because whoever gets your PP will love and cherish it because YOU made the effort and painted it with love and passion.

wow and to think its Sunday morning here, must have been the strong coffee :)

Agree with all of the above comments. I try to do my best for PP’s. My best may not be that great LOL, but at least the person receiving it has a good idea of the time and effort that was put in to produce it and that’s what matters.
For some reason while I’m sat in my painting space in the U.K. working on my PP, I love the idea that somewhere around the globe somebody is doing the same for me.
That’s pretty cool and that’s what it’s all about.

@HellBird when I started [and I know there's a few others who were in the same boat] there was no internet, no airbrush magazines, no specialist airbrush paint, nobody in the trade would tell you anything... I learned from my mate who was a repairer and painter on luxury cars. He learned from reading and looking at the pics in hotrod magazines and in turn showed me what to do. I used cans of car touch up paint, sprayed into the lids then thinned it to work in my airbrush, loads of trial and error and took me a while to get the skills but I never let it beat me. Keep on painting, we're here to help if you need it. If only we had the stuff we got now back in the day, it would have been a much quicker learning curve.

I love all the unofficial PPs flying around the world. It's like Christmas!

I must be slowing down due to my old age but I swear I will have mine done in time, pinky swear!

Now I got the right idea! At the moment I have a lot of work and projects that I could paint night and day! I hope I can hold the deadline.

    Today is a happy day!
I got my first PP art from @Diegojavbau !! Isn't that a nice piece of art to be hang on my PP wall???
I'm so excited! He painted it before he even knew his receiver! What a nice coincidence!
Created Poseidon statue with his iwata revolution 0.5 and ecoline liquid colors.
Thank you very much Diego, it's a beautiful piece of work!
