I am confused:confused::confused::confused: what is the difference in wicked transparent and wicked opaque paints? What are they used for?

The opaque is a solid colour the transparent are exactly that "see through". The opaques would be more like the base colours where as you would use the transparents to build up colour layers as they are more see through. hope this helps a little.

Thank for the info

Another difference is that most opaques have white (not enough to affect chroma or strength of color) added to them. Most transparents don't. That being said, you can make any transparent paint opaque just by adding white and in some cases black to them. So don't stress out about opaque or not opaque, which to buy. Just remember, opaque covers what is under it where as transparents don't.

When you spray an opaque, it can not go darker then the colour you see in the cup. Transparents will continue to go darker the more layers you spray.
