sup guys, been wondering something that havent hear people talking about,maybe its not that important,but anyways,was wondering what kind or type of paper would work to do any type of of work,i seen few vids people useing regular paper towels or that regular printer paper, i guess for training would work fine,but ones you ready to do something for the first time, will i need to use thicker paper maybe? because in my mind i keep thinking that adding paint over paint it will make the paper soft,loose shape or just start to rip...

another thing i see from vids... maybe its just people preference to use black background/paper instead of white or the other way around, maybe those 2 colors of background would be easier to work when airbrushing anything?

Im still a noob here myself but for practice I use black and white poster board from the dollar store, I also use 8.5x11 printer paper, and I also use 8.5 x 11 card stock.. I get 500 sheets of card stock for $6.50. Bottom line is im LEARNING so go cheap until you can comfortably work with you brushes then u can pick your medium depending on the genra you want to paint cars, bikes, or skulls and flames, realistic portraits, ect.

what about the paints,will they all paint fine on any of those surfaces,since poster board its little more thicker then paper or card stock...?

Any airbrush paint should be fine on poster board. You can also start with a newsprint pad, for doing practice dots and such, it's cheap, get the biggest you can. Then worry about spending a few buck on something better. Bristol or mixed media paper is also good, these can be bought in pad form , in various sizes, at the craft stores.

Bristol illustration card is excellent over here we call it 250gsm but I think in the states you call it 110lb
Costs under 10 dollar for 20 sheet normally... canton is a good make of paper/ card

what about the reducing part of the paint, i keep reading people have problems with that till they get it right... but its there any chart or the paint/reducer have somethinig that says how many drops of this per oz or in drops, or its just something im gonna have to play with till ill dont get much of drytip?

we have bristol too, I have some 300 gsm, its nice to paint on.

Unfortunately there is not. Look for another post floating round , Fez just posted some vids, and Lady Squishy posted some great words of wisdom.
