Hi everyone, there is a little story to the pictures I've posted below. A friend of mine has an elderly mum who has the "old people" problem - dementia! About the only thing in the world she reacts too is an old photo of her long dead pet dog who was called Chloe. My friend asked me if I could paint a picture from the photo but bigger as her mum's eyes are failing as well. I have been inspired to have a go at fur since I have joined this forum and seen the awesome examples shown here so I said I would give it a go. My friend asked me how much the picture would cost so I told her up front that I was new at doing animals and it might not turn out very well. I told her that I would do it for her Christmas pressie and she could give it to her mum as a pressie, win-win The first picture is the reference I had I tried to copy the grass and failed miserably so I used a bit of artistic licence and hanged the background but basically the dog is the same (almost ) Painted on Schollerhammer #4 25x35cm, Etac and wicked paint through my HP-C+ & HP-B+ The ref Pic. My rendition I hope you like it but I hope a little old lady likes it more! Spread the Love!
