Look for a glossy /semi glossy poster board, dollar stores often have them out.
If you want to practise on non absorbent surface find a cheap photo frame (larger sizes make it more useable)
Put guides (lines / grids) under the glass to use with your practise exercises. Pop a colouring in page under the glass and practise colouring it in, practise blends/shadow and try and bring a 2D picture to ‘life’
It will greatly help to get your reductions dialled in better too because glass isn’t forgiving and paint will easily spider if your reduction or PSI are wrong
