I think most of those lines look nice. Especially for first trying. I think you'll pick this up very quickly

Like i said earlier, your lines are a consistent thickness and colour, your doing great. That bigger pane of glass is a good idea my buddy has a 2'x4' he practises on which has grids and horizontal lines as he does practise lettering on it too. Mr.Micron said 9,999 left yep but thats just the straight lines lol Then do the C curves and then the S's.

Outstanding. Always good to get a little motivation with good words from those that have experience. Pretty sure we have a large picture frame in the basement that’s not being used. I’m really starting to like the caliber and I’m figuring out how I like to hold the brush. I think today for a few hours I’m just going to do straight lines...who am I kidding,I want to try oth r things too...lol

Can’t tell you all how much I appreciate the feedback.

Just going back over this thread. I still say this is a solid effort Joe. I had a good look at some of the Pinstriper sat this year KKBO with Jord. I think come Christmas time a couple Mack brushes and some Oneshot need to come my way.

Oneshot btw is a Mathews (brand I rave about) paint product I think.... and btw you can get it in pantone codes :)
Just wanted to mention cuz im bored
Paint mixing cups are good to hold paint....you can get ones that are quite small at most hardware stores.

I bought a mack brush, hmm maybe 20 years ago, never seen paint, I dug it out about a year ago and stared at it for an hour or two and it seemed to fall back into the shadows, watched a show called Flakes and Flames off prime that went into striping, got me thinking about it again, plus an ABer I dig stripes his work and it looks amazing.

Guess I should just go pick up a can of ronan and some turp, I've already got a big piece of glass on the work table for cutting.

You'll dig it, really covers a wide range of Kustom here in the States and Europe, pays homage to the old timers that started it, cool cars and art, wish there were more docs like it.
