250 bucks is a good a3 printer. It's a lot if you got bunch of stuff you need to take care of. Mine works without a problem for more then one year. The only thing I changed was I went from original carts to non original carts. Saving a lot of money with non original carts.

No I dont bother to sharpen images when I make em bigger as even the sharpest image would still be blurry to me any way

that is the problem with more or less cheap printers and I went for a printer with ink tanks and the epson ET 2650 I have now works perfect and it is still running on the ink it came with in December 2017 and I have bigger refill bottles at hand that set me back only 30 euro and will last me over 2 years I guess

I went with a3 epson wf7610. Extra large carts cost me 10 euros(all 4 of them-that's like 2.5 euros per cart). While originals are like one cart for 30 or more euros pffffffff.

I was thinking on moving to eco tank in the future.

I can recommend the eco tank version but you need to maintain them but that is something all printers need

I also use the ecotank (ET-2650)
It saves a lot of money.
But my photos always look much darker.
Which means that I miss a lot of details in the dark areas.
    I use the highest settings.
The prints on my HP were much better, But those are expensive prints in comparison.
