Quick question

Hi guys/gals,

Can we basecoat with urethane and make the artwork with water based? And clear-coat with 2k?
Is this procedure safe?

As long as the paints are compatible then yes you should be fine. in terms of safe, never spray 2k WITHOUT full respiratory protection, a serious extraction system and make sure surrounding properties and people are safe. It is evil stuff. A great paint but nasty chemicals you don't want in your body!

ok, thanks a lot! Yeap, I even wear respiratory protection even with water-based. One fan towards me and the artboard, and one towards the exit. Can't yet afford an extraction system..
