This is really a long shot, I know.

I have 2 of these airbrushes without its air valves.
Anyone has one? Or a least some data where I could get them?

I tried to modify Badger air valves to work with them without sucess... Anybody knows how to do this?

Thanks in advance.

Javier.

I seem to recall machining a couple of Badger valves to work on a TC. Before I dig through my studio to find them to document how I did it, what machining are you able to get done? I know I for sure had to turn it on the lathe.

I don´t have a lathe. But I´m pretty sure I could manage to craft the Badger valve to make it work.
I´ll be waiting for your help, if you can.

I haven;t forgotten you! I have just been super busy! I am 99% sure I have a Badger modified valve for a TC sitting on the widow sill in the studio - I just have not had a chance to grab it and compare with a non-modified valve to see what I did.

I recently restored an old Model A with a badger valve. I had to mill down the inner ring to almost completely flat so it would sit flush with the body. I also had to mill down the very tip of the plunger because it would be too long otherwise. Careful not to mill it down too much or it’ll be too short to press with the trigger. I used a handheld Dremel and while it came out pretty sloppy it works perfectly. I was able to pull it off and take a pic

You may also need to widen or drill extra holes for the air as I did with mine, the first time I tried testing it out barely any air came through the tip.
