I don't know how well the strokes will show up here, but this encompassed some fiddling with dagger strokes. Primarily when adding colors to the edge of the horizon and moving inward so I didn't wind up with hot spots of color saturation.

The next step is going to be stenciling in silhouettes of islands and trees, and then, if I get really adventurous I may add some water highlights with opaque white, and perhaps hint at solar disc using the same. I'm unsure about it just yet, I may need more practice first with spraying a thin line over a pre-defined curve. We'll see.

As always, it's candy2O over ground aluminum. Any appearance of shading is due to the aluminum grinding marks.

Very nice blends! I really like the look of your ground metal works.

I like this one has good flow on the grinds and great blends on the color.

Well, this one isn't even going to get resin. I am so deeply disappointed in how this came out that I can't really describe it.

Needed a piece of aluminum to test a flap disc on anyway.

    Hi Neural

Don’t be so critical, I like it very much. It reminds me of all the ofthe sunsets and sunrises I have seen over the years while flying.

I would recommend though in future to move the horizon away the middle. Having the horizon at about a third from the top or bottom seems to be more pleasing on the eye.

This is something I should have done, and honestly I'm not being critical of the above posted image. I just ...ug.. it all went south as soon as I started to do the island silhouettes. :(
The biggest thing that annoys me is that I did a *perfect* spot of opaque white right where the sun should be, but if the lighting is indirect, it looks like a dull grey, right in the center of it all. :(
