Did this for a friend who likes Plymouth Barracuda cars. Total time 3 hours. Airbrush, brush and colored pencil 10” x 7.5” on hot press illustration board.
Yeah you really have to understand how the object is shaped and how different surroundings will be reflected off it. It acts just like a big mirror with a lot of concave and convex surfaces. If you can visualize it that way then it’s a little easier to paint.Nice! Chrome isn’t easy to do.

As I recall I once attempted to pet the tail feathers of a macaw in a pet store. The bird let out an infuriated shriek and gave me one of the most intense looks of fury I’ve ever seen, man or otherwise.
