    This video showcases a little introduction into color shifting/ mixing theory and provides you with a great color wheel reference for future color mixing exercises.
    The exercise is done completely in transparent colors. here it is:

  2. Thanks for this tutorial, I am looking at how to achieve a neon green effect (such as the xbox or monster energy logo's have)
    Hopefully this will pull it together for me, with practice :)

    No problems mate, for brighter results your generally best off with a heavy use of translucents:)
