hi guys!

What you think is better for a beginner to learn to do dots, lines, shading, the eye, the leopard... opaque primary colors? transparent primary colors? Or a mixed white black and white opaque and blue, red , yellow transparent?

Thanks!

I'd say stick to opaques whilst learning, I encourage most to get black and white, mix up some greys and start of with basic layering techniques after some basic practice sheets..But really anything that comes out the end is good for practice..GL and enjoy

I started with opaque black and reducer, and just played around with different reductions to get different densities at first, then moved on to white, before buying translucent primary colours.
