urethane paint as textile paint?

i just wondering that can i use urethane base paint for textile paint.

i just wondering that can i use urethane base paint for textile paint.

This would depend on the Paint and the textile, some solvent based paints will eat or dissolve some synthetic textiles, a simple test test piece should tell you enough.

Some paints will also harden to point where they will crack on flexible textiles.

Like the iron on decals for t-shirt it would be more prone to flake off during washing, But for a canvas piece it works fine.
