What nozzle cleaning technique are you using?

Years ago I bought a cheap hog hair brush, trimmed the hairs and that has been my go-to cleaner ever since.

I guess this wouldn't work on small nozzle?

It would. It works since my first day of airbrushing. The smallest nozzles I have are cleaned using sharpened toothpick. I sharpen them using diamond wheel:) The one that's used for metal cutters sharpening, it takes seconds to have perfect shape of the toothpick taper, though it can be successfully done with fine sandpaper lying on some flat even surface, but it will take minutes to get sharpened tip.

BTW, I also use mentioned bristle brushes, but they're called "liners" for me;) Good addition to sharpened toothpicks.

I use the H&S airbrush cleaning brushes set and a dental cleaning brush they seem to do a good job with a bit of Simple Green or Myths

I'm using dental micro applicators (brushes). You can get them in different sizes and they are made of plastic, so there is no risk of damage of the nozzle. I also used them a couple of times for painting things like eye highlights or rock chips on the car :). I paid like 3 EUR for 50pcs. Just Google Dental Microbrush cause I cannot attach a picture, neither here nor in my gallery :(
