    Another couple of hours....
    IMG_4868 (2).JPG IMG_4869 (2).JPG IMG_4872 (2).JPG
I had an issue with the paynes grey....The one I was using was at the bottom of the bottle and I stated to get some spray issues. Instead of fighting it, I opened a new bottle...big mistake. The new bottle is a lot blacker....I hope it will not be too noticeable when some color is added....

I have a question.....I went a little to dark on the back half of the wolf using the new paint and should I come in and use white on the whiter areas to bring back the light areas? I was thinking of using a heavy reduced semi-opaque white....I know I will get a little blue shift, but being a wolf, it should look ok if I did the same on the entire wolf? If you look at the reference photo, will it give the wolf that look or am I just asking for problems....
Help....I do not want to start over.....

I would think a little blue shift would work fine for this piece, but I’d definitely wait for one of the pros rather than going with anything I think LOL. Hang in there Tony, I think this will work out great.

Decided to forego the white and started adding color today.
Started with Yellow Ochre and then with some Burnt Umber. I hit some darker areas with Burnt sienna. I used a reduced black to tighten up a few spots...
I started the eyes with Burnt Umber and will brighten them up a little...
    IMG_4873 (2).JPG IMG_4876 (2).JPG IMG_4881 (2).JPG
I pulled away the back ground mask to peak at my progress...lol...had to see if it was looking like I hoped. It looked dark until I saw it with the background colors...
    IMG_4885 (2).JPG IMG_4889 (2).JPG IMG_4890 (2).JPG
I need to go in and do a few spots and then I am going to start the front wolf.
    Cheers and thanx for looking

I am now calling it done.....Added some reduced black to the eyes, nose and some of the shadows on the bottom wolf and it added just enough contrast between the two.
I will clear it in the next day or two....
I really enjoyed doing something this scale....

    Thanks.
Always the best part about painting with Createx. Laying that Clear and watching your colors "pop"....lol
I have to build a temp. spray booth to clear it. Going to use spaymax to give it a good gloss and weather proof it if someone wants to put it outdoors..

I can now officially call this done....Clear coated with SprayMax gloss. The colors really popped after clear. They are so rich looking. The whites (base color) and the grays really show well. There was no white paint used on the wolves....
I have decided to sell this piece to help with my Airbrush fund....Any idea what I should sell it for...I find it hard to put a dollar amount on things I paint. I wish I had room in my little house to hang it....

great idea. You gonna make one person happy.

For how much you can sell, I can't help you, but I did check what I can find on google. And if I compare your work with google stuff you can price it very nicely  I mean for a lots of money

The prices on this links are all over the place, but I was comparing better ones with yours.
    https://www.etsy.com/market/sawblade_art
    https://www.ebay.com/b/hand-painted-saw-blade/bn_7024938773

Maybe you should start making those saw blades and selling them... Don't sell your self cheap, you made a great piece. Just compare yours with the ones on links...

Thanks for the examples. I never thought to check like that. There is a lot of small ones, the larger size not too much. It does put the pricing into perspective as far as size and quality....
From this point on, I will grab any old blades I find....lol

Thanks...I want to do another one now....lol

well I didn't look for size. I was looking for what my eye likes and how much are prices of those.
    For example: 430 Euros

    645 Euros

I was comparing your work with blades like this for example. I like yours more. I know I am not objective, but screw it. You got wolfs on yours, I love stuff with wolfs

Thanks again. Those are a great comparison. I was going to ask $500 Canadian, and even second guessing that this might be too much. Now I realize that I might be selling myself short and will probably be happy with that.... I put some ads around so I will have to see what the interest will be....At the end of the day, it still comes down to what someone is willing to pay...lollol

Np. I would focus on bringing some traffic to the place you are selling. If it doesn't sell fast, this doesn't mean it's not worth the money asked. You just need to get the right person to the site where you are selling IMHO.
