Dry pearl mixes

Regarding ghost flames or other such translucent work; mixing dry pearl colors with reducer...is that inappropriate for air brushes? Or is that very clog prone?

One resource indicated that's more appropriate for a full size spray gun because of the clogging issue.

If that's the case, what is the air-bush method of achieving the same concept?

dry pearl and airbrushes only mix if you have like a .75 set up and the micro pearls .
Even the pearl paint designed for airbrush are a pain. But can be done with a .5 set up.
Most ghost flames are tape out and sprayed through a spray gun .

Thank you.

So for airbrushing, getting something close to the same effect would involve what? Over-reducing a metallic paint maybe?

Ok, pearl paint is available and appropriate in general, just avoid the dry stuff. Understood.

Thanks!

Yeah get as big of nozzle needle you can find. It's doable. I use them on my lures. Createx , wicked and auto air.
