Harder & Steenbeck acquired by Anest Iwata

You're a rock star Robby, I will look forward to learning more from all your hard research.
So there we go, the idea that any of airtex's association with H+S had anything to do with the Iwata aquisition was was totally wrong anyhow.
And I yours, But you're more accurate 99% of the time, even if its just a guess

It is actually fun stuff to look into...doesnt really mean much, the brushes still just are what they are I guess at the end of the day.
I learned something anyhow. Though i made my "research" far more complicated than it needed to be.
Between the company history right here and a quick perusing of HLJ. It pretty much tells you all youd ever want to know.

HLJ gives you at least the release dates from when they started selling something, might not be the earliest but still, having the original Beauti 4 release date being 2010 pretty much rules out the idea that its recent.

At least Iwata doesn't operate like brunswick, where they buy every company in an entire industry, shut down all the competitors, continue to sell the biggest name but turn the quality to complete crap. Then after enough years when people realize its crap now and new competitors are making better product they just sell it off and move on to the next thing.
