Micron conversion?

I heard it’s possible to swap the Micron head assembly onto a GSI PS270/289. Or more to the point a PS-771 head assembly. I understand the 771 .18 needle is smaller diameter and requires an Iwata packing seal. Does anyone know what that application is? Is it a HP-B Plus?

any of the .2 brushes (more specifically, anything with a 1.2mm needle diameter), so yeah, the packing seal from the HP-B+ will work, or HP-B, A, SB, etc...

Yeah it’s weird. The Iwata packing seal costs less. Not sure why.
