Which airbrush do you use?

Hey @DaveG check this out - I followed your advice & got a version 1 SOTAR! And never used, apparently. The seller claims that it was "owned by a well known air brush artist, they were at his shows, where he spoke about the difference of each type of airbrush"



My first Badger! Looking forward to playing with this.

@JackEb can we have aerograph and sparmax added please. I think the sparmax brushes are a good performance to price buy for anyone and are not given enough credit.

There are so many brands I hadn’t heard of when I first picked up an airbrush (but I didn’t start this thread )

I have a couple of Sparmax brushes they are really really good brushes. I started my airbrushing career with Sparmax Max-3 brushes. It would be nice to have them on the list.

They really are. When another sp35 pops up for a bargain price to salvage (or if the max series are good then one of them) I will grab it to bring back to life. I sold my sp35 to "upgrade" but the sp35 was great to use and i need not have sold it.

I use IWATA brand airbrushes primarily, The IWATA HP-BC 1& 2 and the IWATA Eclipse HP-BCS (Siphon Fed Airbrushes). I do own several gravity fed airbrushes (4) with the IWATA HP-C being the oldest of my gravity fed airbrushes (2mm fluid nozzle and needle). In the last year I've acquired the IWATA Eclipse Takumi and refurbished an IWATA Micron CM-SB now with a Dru-Blair "LOW RIDER" trigger only. I've also recently purchased both out of production IWATA HP-BE1 & 2 airbrushes.
