Air-Valve Autobot!
Hey guys
I was cleaning my nozzle and now i have tissue wedged up in it lol anyone else done this and if so how the fook am i getting it out??? I cant force it out thro the tip for obvious reasons, i have it in hot water at the min to try and break the tissue down.

Comments on how stupid i am are not only welcome but justified [emoji51]

My first recommendation is to stop watching internet porn while cleaning your brush, one or the other, but never both at once.

Second, try replacing the nozzle and blowing back at a higher pressure, that should work after your soaking, if not try to carefully prize it our with an old needle or piece of thins fuse wire.

Compared to some things I've done it's not stupid at all, but if you'd still prefer "your stupid";)

Just as well it was my nozzle that got tissue jammed in it lol ouch!
I tried hassje's suggestion but it wont even back flush fs. I panicked when it first happened and put the needle in so its well and truely stuck, but ill get it out or die trying

If you can find a piece of copper wire, pull a couple of looses strands off of it an d try pushing form the front of the nozzle, the copper is softer than your nozzle so it would bend before doing any damage.

K mate cheers
Oh and get your madbrush badge back on your profile it seems naked with out it

Yay got the tissue out, boo damaged the nozzle fs
Now paint is just constantly coming out when i press for air. Gonna cost me £50 [emoji20]

I'm fairly sure that if you soaked the nozzle in acetone, it would have dissolved the tissue to a point it would have come out with a pair of tweezers or blown out with air.
Sorry about the late reply!

Thanks splasha, we live and learn lol its the first (and last) time i used a bit of tissue to clean my nozzle i usually just run the needle round the inside of it. Stick to what you know is todays lesson [emoji4]

I destroyed my Micron's nozzle when I use to clean it with a sharpened toothpick. Now I use a thinned out rigger paint brush.

Almost did the same thing with my Paasche Talon, using the sharpened toothpick. Tried everything to get it out, lucky for me the tips are more sturdy on the Talon, I succeeded by heating it til it was almost red, burnt the toothpick to ashes, and cleaned out the ashes after the tip had cooled. :)

Yup, don't jam stuff in the end of it, or you could end up in accident and emergency while the "special secret code" gets blasted over the speaker system and the whole hospital staff turns up, all biting their lips and keeping a very straight face, doctors, nurses, cleaners, vending machine guy....

Maybe if you gave it some serious cleaning, and polishing it would get bigger, and you could just shake it out.

Lmao
All available staff to a&e we have a jam, repeat we have a jam

To many inappropriate jokes I wouldnt know where to start. Paper towels are always better than tissue.

I hear may people like to use socks, although I'm not quite sure I understand why. Does it need to be kept warm?
