Why has nobody made a nozzle made out of something miles stronger than brass
Surely it not that hard for an engineer? ?

Cost pretty much. Japanese ones break so often because they are so thin even at the base. The ones for a mojo fit Japanese models as well and Mike had them engineered much wider and a little thicker and they are pretty damn robust. Airbrushes themselves are brass and using dissimilar metals is asking for disaster. If it was say stainless you would easily strip the threads screwing it in (if has screw in type) since brass is so soft. Also different metals have limits how thin they can be milled before they fail.

Also typically you shouldn't need to replace them and they don't just split for no reason. Always user error. In 15 years of airbrushing I've replaced a cracked nozzle twice and both times from accidently dropping the airbrush.

The same reason they don't make air planes out the same material they make the black box out of, they would never sell another one,

Yeah I'm sure if they could find a way to make it a solvent proof plastic they would. Higher prices with lower quality world, gotta love it.

I would assume that harder harder materials would more brittle and more likely to crack during machining this small.
And obviously all machines would have to be replaced in order to machine harder stuff, the machines or at least cutting part of it would naturally have to be harder than the stuff they are trying to cut.
Considering what the existing parts do, I don't find them that expensive, obviously as IM said, it's a case of being able to look after what you have, the more respect you have for your tools the longer they will last, as yet I have never had to replace a nozzle on any of my brushes, except one of my cheapies which I dropped but binned as soon as that happened, I also dropped my neo which is sitting waiting for a new nozzle and needle, but I'm so happy with my HP-BH that I would rather just have some spares on hand for that and I will probably buy a second one later.
Renewing parts comes with the territory in any activity, but as you gain more experience the necessity will be less frequent.
Because I sit to work now, I have my air hose around my leg and if I drop my brush it simply doesn't reach the floor, when the brush is off the hose it sits right at the back of my desk, I know none of this helps for painting whole cars or trucks, but the chances of me doing anything like that are zero.

I wrap the hose around my arm once to help catch it if somehow I drop it, but it always works out that the needle finds your side or leg to poke right into

LOL, I'd rather have it in my leg than on a concrete floor, I did the same when I used to stand in front of a white board to work, but it always makes sense to arrange it so that whenever it does fall it can't reach the floor.
When my Neo hit the floor I actually knocked it of the table while reaching for something else, I also tried to catch with my foot and kicked it instead so it hit the wall and then the floor, it was so bad the needle couldn't move, I had to remove the nozzle and needle together form the front, the nozzle cap was damaged as well, but the new brush always goes right to the back of my desk behind everything so I can't reach it unless I stretch.
